Harlem Mothers S.A.V.E. focuses on three main areas:  activism, victim services and education. 

>Activism:  Work to prevent the inter-state transportation and illegal sale of guns in Harlem, as well as seek the enactment of stricter local, state and national legislation that will limit the easy availability of guns on city streets.

>Education:  Encourage peaceful methods of conflict resolution and thereby prevent the use of guns to settle disputes among Harlem youth. 

>Victim Services: Offer support and counsel to bereaved parents and loved ones who have lost a family member to gun violence.
